Anigran is a preparation based on hyaluronic acid, intended for the treatment of wounds in animals, primarily horses, dogs and small mammals. Anigran ensures perfect hydration of the wound, creates suitable conditions in the wound for tissue regeneration and generally supports the healing process. A beneficial side effect is the reduced formation of unsightly hypertrophic scars and an overall shortening of the treatment time.

Anigran probably finds its greatest use in the treatment of traumatic injuries in horses. Among the most high-risk wounds in horses in general are lacerated or contused wounds in the lower part of the limbs (between the hoof and the hock or carpal joint), where there is a risk of affecting important structures such as tendons and tendon sheaths. Most injuries located in this area generally have a very poor tendency to heal and there is a risk of infection developing. The use of Anigran is also suitable for treating wounds before primary delayed suture or secondary suture.

The excellent properties of Anigran gel are based on its high content of hyaluronic acid, a substance that is a natural part of skin tissues and one of the main components of the intercellular matrix. During the healing process, its high affinity for water prevents the dressing from drying onto the wound, keeps the immediate surroundings of the wound sufficiently hydrated, and thereby supports the viability and natural migration of cells in the wound.

Deep and superficial wounds and skin defects, cavities, fistulas, dehisced surgical wounds, poorly healing sutures, contusions, extensive abrasions, lacerated wounds, bite wounds, including infected wounds.
