Bunny Nature Guinea Pig Food Basic 600g
A complete food for guinea pigs older than 5 months.
Guinea pigs come from the mountainous regions of South America, where in the wild they feed on a wide range of plants.
Like dwarf rabbits, chinchillas and degus, guinea pigs are also strict herbivores. Bunny Nature food is based on the animals’ natural feeding habits. It is enriched with plants from their South American homeland – quinoa, amaranth, chokeberry and maca root.

Thanks to the special manufacturing process, the herbs used are processed into fibres of different lengths and thicknesses. Why?
While the constantly growing incisors and molars need a coarse, fibrous structure for proper wear, finer particles are in turn good for the caecum, which acts as a fermentation chamber. A specific fibre length is also needed for healthy digestion.
The shape of the pellets is tailored to the specific type of animal the food is intended for – while rabbits chew in a figure-of-eight motion, guinea pigs, degus and chinchillas move their jaw backwards and forwards.
