Pets that are fed the right food suited to their species and do not have to worry about their next meal are happy and healthy. The „Lucky formula“ was created according to exactly this concept. It makes it possible to feed rabbits and rodents ad libitum – that is, unlimited access to food so they can meet their needs without overeating or gaining weight. Patented TriMello pellets Thanks to a special production method, the herbs it contains are processed into different fibre lengths and thicknesses. Why? While the constantly growing incisors and molars need a coarse fibrous structure for proper wearing down, the fine particles are in turn good for the caecum, which serves as a fermentation chamber. A specific fibre length is also needed for healthy digestion. The pellet shape is adapted to the specific species of animal for which the food is intended – while rabbits chew in a figure-of-eight motion, guinea pigs, degus and chinchillas move their jaw back and forth.
