Calibra Dog Verve Senior Medium & Large Breed (Chicken & Duck) is a complete dry food with fresh meat and grain-free. The recipe is designed for adult dogs over 6 years of age of medium and large breeds weighing 10–90 kg. With 30 % of fresh chicken combined with a luxurious duck protein, this food meets the highest demands for a dog's natural diet in line with its physiological needs. Adequate nutrition for a mature dog is supplemented with an increased amount of chondroprotective substances for the strained joints of larger dogs.

Fresh meat is a highly nutritious source of protein that has an attractive flavour and is also suitable for sensitive digestion.

The grain-free recipe is superbly digestible, contains quality protein sources that are 65 % of animal origin, as well as an adequate amount of carbohydrates and fibre, and is therefore carefully balanced in terms of energy.

In addition, it contains a unique combination of selected functional additives. This unique mix – the Triple active formula – ensures the right effect of this recipe.

TRIPLE ACTIVE FORMULA

• Milk thistle seed - contains silymarin, which acts as an antioxidant and supports liver function
• Green-lipped mussel - a natural source of glycosaminoglycans (GAG's, which include chondroitin and glucosamine) and omega-3 fatty acids (mainly EPA and DHA). It has a chondroprotective and anti-inflammatory effect.
• Boswellia serrata (Indian frankincense) and its boswellic acids have an anti-inflammatory effect and help alleviate the signs of degenerative joint disease with loss of joint cartilage (osteoarthritis).

The recipe is free from grains, gluten, maize, artificial colours and added preservatives, and is GMO-free.
