A preparation - complementary food developed especially for ageing and old dogs fed on or home-prepared food, containing purely natural components that improve the functions of all organ systems and thereby also the metabolism in the whole body. It thus prevents the action of various external and internal risk factors that could adversely affect the health of dogs and bitches of this age category.

Bioactive pure collagen peptides together with vitamin C, obtained from rosehips, treat the cartilaginous and connective tissues of the joints. Bioflavonoids from rosehips additionally strengthen the immune system. in the form of the rapidly absorbable and gentle calcium citrate prevents osteoporosis and, together with L-carnitine, facilitates the activity of muscle tissue including the heart muscle. A rich natural source of vitamins and trace elements is lyophilised brewer's yeast and meal from the brown seaweed of the species Ascophyllum nodosum, farmed but on the open sea in the North Atlantic. Brewer's yeast additionally, through its content of enzymes, together with the fibre from the seaweed, improves the conditions in the digestive tract, thereby improving digestion and the usability of nutrients taken in through food.

The ginger content optimises joint functions, thereby improving the condition of the locomotor apparatus and thus also the feeling of well-being (welfare) of the dog or bitch. Fructooligosaccharides () from the root of common chicory act prebiotically, strengthening the physiological microbial flora in the digestive tract, thereby preventing possible digestive disorders caused by pathogens. Oligomeric proanthocyanidins, obtained from the seeds of grapevine fruit, are purely natural antioxidants that capture highly reactive free radicals and thus protect the cells of the whole body from the damage they cause. The substances contained in the leaves of maidenhair tree (Ginkgo biloba) strengthen brain functions through better blood circulation.

Composition: Calcium citrate, collagen, meal from carrot root (Daucus carota), meal from brown seaweed Ascophylum nodosum, meal from the fruit of dog rose (Rosa canina), meal from grape seeds (Vitis vinifera), meal from the root of common chicory (Cichorium intibus), meal from the leaves of maidenhair tree (Ginkgo biloba), meal from the rhizome of common ginger (Zingiber officinale).

Dosage: 1 medium-sized teaspoon of powder with a slight heap (about 3 g) per 10 kg of body weight, max. 6 spoons daily.
