Cunipic Alpha Pro Rabbit Adult 4kg

Cunipic AlphaPro Adult Rabbits is a complete grain-free food with a high fibre content (26%), with no added colourants or sugar, suitable for adult rabbits of all breeds from 6 months of age. The healthy, very tasty and balanced recipe contains all the nutrients essential for rabbit health in every pellet.

Benefits of AlphaPro food:

• grain-free – lower sugar (starch) content from cereals for better digestion and prevention of diarrhoea and obesity
• all-in-one – identical pellets prevent selective feeding
• produced at low temperatures – extrusion takes place at lower temperatures than for common feeds, so that the beneficial properties of the raw materials are preserved and losses of vitamins and amino acids are minimised
• correct calcium/phosphorus ratio – ideal ratio of 1.5 : 2
• high fibre content (26%) – supports intestinal motility (movement of digesta through the gut) and supports the gut microflora
• 29% timothy hay – a grass with a high fibre content (supports proper chewing and tooth wear) and lower calcium content (prevention of urinary tract problems)
• with long fibre pieces – raw materials are coarsely ground before processing to support the passage of digesta through the gut and caecotrophy, and to prevent diarrhoea
• low fat content (2%) – contains an ideal amount of fat from sources rich in essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids
• no added sugar – helps prevent problems with excess weight
• contains prebiotics including fructooligosaccharides (FOS) rich in inulin – for the prevention of diarrhoea, bowel cancer and cardiovascular disease, and for regulating cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood
