Complete food for chinchillas.

Chinchilla Complete food provides the following functions:
* Dental Care
Chinchillas very often develop dental problems. This is usually a direct result of unsuitable feeding that does not sufficiently contribute to the natural wear and continuous growth of the teeth. By incorporating intact long fibre pieces with a high proportion of silicates into the Chinchilla Complete pellets, maximum chewing, tooth wear and a healthy oral cavity are achieved.
* Fresh Vegetables
The extrusion process makes it possible to add fresh vegetables to the pellets. The addition of at least 10% fresh vegetables gives the pellets a delicious taste. Combined with the fibre and texture, this makes Chinchilla Complete a highly palatable food for chinchillas.
* Long Fibres
Chinchillas are herbivores by nature and need a diet with a sufficiently high fibre content and low starch content. Chinchilla Complete contains 20% crude fibre. The unique manufacturing process ensures that Complete foods contain only intact long fibre pieces rich in silicates. Exactly those found in the natural diet in the wild. These long fibre pieces support and improve intestinal and dental function far better than crushed or otherwise broken fibre in standard rodent foods.
* Low Calorie
The combination of low energy and starch content and a high content of long fibre pieces guarantees easy digestibility and a balanced diet. This is how your chinchilla maintains its ideal weight.
* Florastimul
The addition of prebiotics, fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) has a positive effect on the health of the intestinal microflora. In this way, the correct balance and function of the intestines is achieved.
* Vitamin Plus
Adding important vitamins to the food supports overall health. Vitamin A is essential for skin cell renewal, vision, reproduction and metabolism. Vitamin D3 stimulates calcium/phosphorus deposition and thus supports the bones. Vitamins E and C are important antioxidants that protect the body against free radicals. Both also strengthen the body's natural defences. A stabilised form of vitamin C is used in Complete foods. Unlike the crystalline form, stabilised vitamin C undergoes oxidation and biological breakdown much more slowly and therefore remains active for far longer.
* Pro Immunity
The addition of natural plant pigments, lutein and β-carotene, has a positive effect on overall resistance and condition. These carotenoids are known as highly effective biological antioxidants. In addition, they stimulate the production of antibodies against diseases, thereby strengthening the body's natural defences.
* Optimal Coat
The omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in the Complete range of foods support healthier skin and a shinier coat. Omega-3 fatty acids are present thanks to added linseed, omega-6 thanks to added vegetable oils. This achieves an optimal ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
* Anti Hairball
Thanks to the use of specific natural fibre, the risk of hairballs forming in the stomach and digestive system is reduced to a minimum.
* Odour Control
All foods in the Complete range contain yucca extract. This binds ammonia and other components responsible for the odours emanating from faeces. Unpleasant odours are thus significantly reduced.

Feeding guide: depending on the size and age of the chinchilla, we recommend serving 30-45 g daily.
