Small rodents such as the hamster are natural omnivores and therefore, alongside plant-based food, they also need animal proteins, which is why Deli Nature Premium Small Rodents food is supplemented with extruded pellets that are a high-quality and easily digestible source of animal protein.
The food additionally contains a number of treats such as banana slices, apple pieces, raisins and carob.
The mix contains cereals in the form of maize flakes. Processed in this way, thanks to the gelatinisation of the starch and other nutrients, they become highly digestible with better biological absorption.
