Effipro duo is a solution for application onto the skin – spot-on for large dogs (20-40kg) against fleas and ticks
Each 2.68 ml pipette contains:
Active substances: Fipronilum 268 mg, Pyriproxyfenum 80.4 mg
Other substances: Butylhydroxyanisole (E 320) 0.536 mg, Butylhydroxytoluene (E 321) 0.268 mg
Pyriproxyfen is an insect growth regulator (IGR) from a group of substances known as juvenile hormone analogues. Contact with the molecule prevents adults from developing by blocking the development of eggs (ovicidal effect), larvae and pupae (larvicidal effect), which are subsequently eliminated.
The combination of fipronil and pyriproxyfen provides an insecticidal and acaricidal effect against fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks (Rhipicephalus turanicus, Ixodes ricinus) and also prevents the development of adult fleas from eggs.
