Filter Media
Filter media are the quiet workhorse of any filtration system — without them, a filter would just push water around. We stock Tetra filter wool and cartridges for both external EX filters and internal EasyCrystal filters, Tetra activated carbon in multipacks, and UnionStar super-activated carbon 150 g. Replace the wool as it clogs up; activated carbon loses its effectiveness after roughly a month — and always choose media designed for your specific filter model.
