Compared with maize and wheat, it contains no gluten, so it is also suitable for dogs with more sensitive digestion. Moreover, it is an excellent source of carbohydrates, which serve as a source of readily available energy," explains Adéla Palacká, a dog and cat nutrition specialist for the Fitmin brand.
