Francodex Vitamin C Drops for Guinea Pigs 500 ml
Vitamin C – food supplement for guinea pigs
Guinea pigs cannot synthesise vitamin C. A lack of vitamin C causes musculoskeletal disorders, loss of appetite and spontaneous fractures. The recommended daily intake of vitamin C is 20 mg/kg and 60 mg/kg in guinea pigs recovering after illness and in guinea pigs during pregnancy and lactation.
Use: If vitamin C is administered daily, it covers the ascorbic acid requirement in guinea pigs. In addition, it is essential to provide them with a balanced diet.
Instructions for use: Shake before use.
- Preventive use: Use the measuring cup and add 5 ml of vitamin C to 1 litre of drinking water. Administer vitamin C daily.
- During recovery: Triple the doses, i.e. administer 15 ml per 1 litre of drinking water for 10 days.
- During pregnancy and lactation: Triple the doses, i.e. administer 15 ml per 1 litre of drinking water for 10 days.
Vitamin C is sensitive to light, so it is recommended to change the drinking water daily.
Composition: sodium bicarbonate, potassium phosphate.
