Ham-Stake Willow Twigs 100g
Young shoots of willow of the species Salix Viminalis var. Gigantea for rodents.
The substances contained in willow bark and twigs are compared to the equivalent of a plant-based aspirin. They have a very favourable effect in treating rheumatic conditions and enteritis, fight fever and stop diarrhoea.
Biting and crunching on young willow twigs has effective anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic and antibacterial effects.
Willow branches are also a rich source of mineral salts, ellagic acid, tannins, catechins and flavonoids. They are found both in the bark and in the pulp of the young shoots.
A diet supplemented with willow shoots helps with ailments such as excessive nervous irritability, insomnia and neuralgia.
The special drying process the twigs undergo prevents the loss of valuable compounds and substances. As a result, the twigs are deliciously crunchy while retaining their natural freshness and green colour.
