A nutritionally complete food made from the highest-quality ingredients, it supplies all the necessary substances for healthy growth, boosted immunity and beautiful colouring. The recipe is created directly for KOI carp. The food is balanced so that the fish utilise everything, without unnecessary waste that would burden the filtration and pollute the pond. The recipe was created to achieve excellent condition, health resistance and optimal growth. Fish fed with our food do not have their liver and kidneys excessively burdened, and therefore no auto-intoxication of the fish occurs when the water temperature in the pond drops.
Instructions on how to feed correctly:
The food is intended for year-round feeding. It is important to monitor the water temperature, since fish are cold-blooded organisms and their metabolic activity is directly dependent on the ambient temperature. With KOI, less is more.
At temperatures of 10 - 15 °C, once or twice a week is enough.
In the months when the water temperature is above 15°C we feed once a day, ideally at the same time.
At temperatures of 20-25°C the KOI are most active and we can feed ad libitum (as much as they eat themselves). Above 28°C we stop feeding the fish. We feed in small doses so that the fish eat all the floating food. If feeding is not possible, for example due to a holiday, we do not overfeed the fish (our pond, as a healthy biotope, supplies a certain amount of natural food itself).
Feed ration: One daily feed ration corresponds to 1.5% to 2% of the weight of the fish stock (one kilogram carp in the feed ration should take in 15 to 20 grams of food)
