Lucky Reptile Earthworms dried earthworms are an excellent food that all kinds of aquatic amphibians and aquatic turtles readily accept. Simply leave them in water, where they swell up and become literally fresh again.
Earthworms are an ideal food for aquatic turtles, garter snakes of the genus Thamnophis and of course also for amphibians. Many species of frogs and toads (fire-bellied toads, horned frogs, toads and clawed frogs) consider them a delicacy and will accept them very readily. Earthworms contain a lot of protein, but minimal fat.
Recommended feeding method: earthworms should be part of a varied feeding ration. They can be placed on the water surface, left in a bowl, or dosed individually to kept reptiles or amphibians using tweezers. Offer 1–2× a week.
