Lucky Reptile Leo Jelly 4x15g
A complete jelly-form food for leopard geckos. Carefully balanced, easy to feed and easy to store.
Leo Jelly – a jelly-form food specially developed for leopard geckos, which are especially popular among reptile keepers.
It contains animal ingredients from insects such as soldier fly larvae, locusts and mealworms. Natural insect oil is especially appealing to these geckos.
Although leopard geckos are strict insectivores, a certain amount of plant-based food has been deliberately added. This not only corresponds to the natural gut content of insects, but also provides natural vitamins and fibre important for digestion.
Thanks to additional vitamins, minerals and trace elements, Leo Jelly is a complete food and an excellent alternative to feeding live insects.
Recommended feeding method: offer to leopard geckos 1–3× a week. Remove any uneaten leftovers the following day. An opened pack can be stored in the fridge for 3–4 days; let it warm to room temperature before serving. Also offer live insects. However, if this jelly is fed regularly, feeding live insects can be avoided. To help leopard geckos get used to the food, we recommend feeding them with tweezers at first. This also stimulates the animals' hunting instinct. Once a leopard gecko gets used to the food, it eats the jelly – roughly divided into bite-sized pieces – directly from the feeding bowl.
