Shortly after the media is placed in the filter, cleaning bacteria begin their work. They colonise the specially structured foam, where they intensively break down harmful substances biologically.
The filter media are reusable.
Cleaning is simple. Just rinse them under running water and squeeze gently so the bacterial cultures are not completely destroyed.
