Nobby inflatable protective collar 34.5-41cm
This protective collar is a new product from the Nobby company. It is used like a common collar after injuries, operations or skin diseases, when it is necessary to prevent persistent licking or licking altogether.
The collar size is intended for a dog neck circumference from 34.5 to 41 cm.
Compared to a common conical, rigid collar, however, it has several clear advantages:
-
it does not restrict the dog's peripheral vision
-
it does not get in the dog's way while eating or drinking
-
it leaves no scratches on furniture, walls or floors
-
it causes the dog no difficulty when moving - it does not catch on surrounding objects like a rigid collar; for example, climbing into a crate or kennel stops being a stressful matter for you and your dog
-
on a walk you will appreciate its unrestrictive nature too; your ball maniac will soon even forget that it is wearing any collar at all
The collar is soft, unrestrictive and easy to wash when dirty: unzip the zip on the back, pull out the inflatable "inner tube" and you can happily pop it into the washing machine at 40 degrees. The collar is scratch-resistant.
Using the collar:
-
thread the ordinary collar you use every day through the inner loops of the collar (at home the use of a common collar is not essential; the collar fulfils its function even without it)
-
inflate the collar using the valve on the back of the collar; inflate it so that it is fully inflated but not hard
-
place it on the dog's neck, fasten the collar and then also secure the hook-and-loop fastener on the front of the collar
Warning:
-
if your dog has a long muzzle (e.g. Belgian Shepherd, Collie...), choose a larger collar size
-
if your dog has a neck circumference on the border between two sizes, choose the larger one
-
the collar is not intended as a swimming aid!!!!
-
use only under supervision
