How to brush?

• introduce brushing to the dog carefully, so that it is a positive experience for your dog
• let your dog get used to brushing by gradually licking off the paste, never let it bite the brush
• use Petosan paste, which was developed for animals. Never use toothpastes intended for human consumption - they can be harmful if swallowed.
• place a small amount of toothpaste on the brush, expose the teeth by lifting the cheek and start brushing - only one tooth on the first day.
• when brushing, make gentle, short movements with the brush, do not apply any pressure.
• gradually increase the number of teeth brushed
• start with the front teeth and proceed slowly to the back teeth. Brush thoroughly where the teeth meet the gums.
• it is natural for dogs to try to bite the toothbrush; if this happens, gently press its cheek against the jaw - this method is not painful in any way and effectively stops the biting.
• if your dog does not like brushing, try the whole process later
• turn off the brush after brushing and keep it dry
• change the batteries regularly
• change the brush head if damaged or regularly every 4-6 months.
