Petosan Starter Kit Finger Brush + Toothpaste 20g 1pc
This pack contains Petosan toothpaste 20g with chicken flavour and a microfibre finger toothbrush with an antibacterial treatment.
We recommend this set for steps 1 and 2 of the Petosan tooth-cleaning programme.
Petosan cleaning in three steps
Step 1, days 1-3
Apply a little Petosan toothpaste to your index finger and let your dog lick the paste off. Gently move your finger along the teeth and gums so that your dog gets used to it. Reward the dog. If your dog is happy, move on to step 2.
(! Never use toothpaste intended for people, as it can be harmful to your dog if swallowed)
Step 2, days 4-14
Repeat the procedure using the Petosan finger toothbrush so that you wipe the plaque off the surface of the teeth and gums.
Do not force the dog and always clean only where the dog allows you to. Do it regularly and reward the dog. If your dog is happy, move on to step 3.
Step 3, day 15 and beyond
Introduce your dog to the toothbrush. The Petosan double-headed toothbrush allows you to clean the inner and outer surfaces of the teeth at the same time with a single movement.
Apply the paste to the toothbrush and let your dog lick the paste off. However, do not let it bite the toothbrush.
Move the toothbrush slowly and gently along the teeth; we recommend starting by cleaning only part of the teeth and gradually moving on to the whole set of teeth. Reward the dog. Be patient and repeat the procedure every day.
