Stuck at work or busy making dinner? The SmartDoor Connected pet door from PetSafe® ensures your pet can play and go outside no matter where you are. The door connects to an app on your phone, offering the ideal solution for the whole furry family by giving them their own way in and out of the house. Thanks to the My PetSafe® app, you'll have full control over the door. It lets you manage schedules, receive notifications and control the door remotely from your phone. Let them out, they'll run around the garden, and you can get on with other things without having to open the door for them.
The door comes with a key that clips onto your pet's existing collar, giving them exclusive access through the door. Households with multiple pets can of course purchase additional keys. The Medium-sized door can even be paired with microchips, offering cats keyless access! Other pets and animals without a key or microchip cannot get in, which prevents unwanted visitors to your home.
The microchip function only works for cats and with the Medium-sized smart door. The door is compatible with FDX-B (15-digit), FDX-A (10-digit), AVID H and AVID Encrypted (9- or 15-digit) microchips
You might want to set a curfew for your four-legged friend. Using the My PetSafe® app, you can set individual schedules for your pets, allowing them access through the door only at specific times. You can check movement notifications on your phone or smart watch. Get alerts when your pets use the door, when it's locked, and more. If a storm is passing through town, remotely activate the door's multi-point lock via your phone to keep your dog or cat safe. The door's dynamic seal is energy-efficient and keeps unwanted weather and draughts where they belong - out of your home. The door's flap is made of durable plastic and is tinted for privacy, so no prying eyes can peek into your home. The SmartDoor comes in 2 sizes: MEDIUM and LARGE. It's powered by batteries or an adapter (sold separately) and requires a high-speed 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. Installing the door will make for a perfect weekend project. Your pet deserves the best.

How to proceed with installation:
Before cutting the opening and installing the door, make sure you have connected to Wi-Fi and set up your pet's door at the planned installation location. This ensures there will be no connection issues and that set-up will be easy!
Training will be simple and won't take much time:
Simply teach your pet to use the new door by following our instructions, with the help of our instructional videos and customer support specialists. Training sessions will only take 10-15 minutes a day for 4-6 weeks.
