Purina PPVD Canine - HA Hypoallergenic is a complete hypoallergenic veterinary dietetic food for the diagnosis and nutritional management of food allergy in puppies and adult dogs. Some dogs may suffer from a food allergy, which can manifest itself with skin symptoms and/or irritation of the digestive tract.

This soft meat paste for dogs contains hydrolysed soya as its only source of protein, which is less common in food compared with many animal proteins.

The hydrolysed soya protein in Canine HA is not able to bind antibodies against soya in dogs allergic to soya and therefore cannot trigger an allergic reaction.

Hydrolysed diets are also suitable for use during a so-called "elimination diet", which serves to confirm (or rule out) a food allergy. During the elimination diet period, the dog should be fed exclusively the Canine HA dietetic food in combination only with drinking water for 8 to 10 weeks.

Feeding instructions: Before use or before extending the period of use, it is recommended to seek the opinion of a veterinary surgeon. Give the appropriate daily ration according to the size of the dog. The dosage should be adjusted to maintain the optimal weight. Fresh water must always be available.
