Meadow hay is a fundamental pillar of the diet for most herbivorous domestic pets. Our hay comes from clean Czech meadows and is intended for the everyday feeding of rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and other rodents that need a high intake of quality fibre.

The hay is carefully sieved and de-dusted, which significantly reduces the amount of dust and fine impurities. This makes it also suitable for animals with sensitive airways or those living in an environment where air quality is a concern.

Regular consumption of quality hay supports proper digestive function and the natural wearing down of teeth, which is an essential health requirement for rodents and rabbits. Feed hay fresh every day and in sufficient quantity. Some animal species require it ad libitum, i.e. without restriction.

Thanks to gentle drying, the hay retains its natural aroma, nutritional value and the diversity of meadow species. This supports the animal's natural behaviour and increases its appetite.

Composition

Meadow hay (may contain in particular): timothy grass, false oat-grass, Yorkshire fog, red fescue, common meadow-grass, meadow fescue, cock's-foot, meadow foxtail, white clover, red clover, great burnet, oxeye daisy, ribwort plantain, bellflower species and other meadow plants.

Analytical constituents:

Dry matter 88.70 %, Crude protein 9.30 %, Crude ash 7.80 %, Crude fat 1.70 %, Crude fibre 25.30 %.

Instructions for use

Feed fresh daily.
Ensure a sufficient quantity. For rabbits in particular, feed ad libitum.
To preserve cleanliness and quality, we recommend feeding hay in a hay rack.
Keep the hay away from moisture and contamination.
Do not feed damp, mouldy or otherwise spoiled hay – this could endanger the animal's health.
The animal must always have access to fresh drinking water.

Storage

Store in a dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.

Once the pack is opened, keep the hay so that it does not come into contact with moisture or contaminants.

Warning

Do not feed hay that is damp, mouldy or shows signs of spoilage – this risks digestive problems or health complications.

Store away from moisture and away from contamination by other animals.
