JUKO Terrarium Substrate 10l
A specially blended substrate for terrarium animals, containing a mix of lignocellulose and sand.
This substrate is intended for direct use without mixing in any further substrates.
It holds moisture well and does not stick. Suitable for dry and semi-dry terrariums. Particularly suitable for turtles, lizards, snakes, spiders, snails and other species.

It absorbs your pets' waste excellently. The substrate stays moist for a long time, though animals that require it will still need it moistened again after a while.
Use: pour the substrate into the terrarium and spread it out. A layer of approx. 3 - 6 cm is usually used, but this depends on the species kept - digging and larger species require a deeper layer. We recommend replacing it 2 - 4 times a year depending on soiling. Regularly remove droppings and other debris, and top up the substrate as needed.
