Ticks and Fleas: What They Are and the Dangers They Pose to Pets and People

Ticks and fleas are ectoparasites, meaning parasites that live on the surface of the body. Protecting ourselves and our pets from such pests is essential to prevent the spread of diseases and infections.

Ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus) in particular are the main carriers of disease. They suck the blood of infected animals and pass spirochaetes on to new hosts they later attach to. Ticks indiscriminately attack all warm-blooded creatures, including people. Their bite is not painful, so it often goes unnoticed. Once embedded in the skin, they act like a pump. They continuously suck and regurgitate blood (backflow), so contamination occurs fairly quickly.

Ultrasound is the ideal solution for protection against pests such as ticks and fleas.

Using ultrasonic technology is the ideal solution during all activities carried out in contact with nature.
The transmitted ultrasonic waves affect only the nervous systems of ticks and fleas. They are so disruptive to these parasites that they are forced to leave the host, while also preventing a new attack. A truly eco-friendly solution with no contraindications, as it uses no potentially harmful chemicals.
