Do not give veterinary diets to your pet without your vet's recommendation! You should also consult your vet at least once every 6 months as to whether to continue feeding the diet. If your pet's condition worsens in any way while on the diet, contact your vet immediately.

Indications:

A food for special nutritional purposes for dogs, the composition of which helps to reduce the amount of urate, oxalate and cystine crystals. This food is also recommended for dogs suffering from severe kidney disease.

Method of treatment:

It is recommended to seek your vet's opinion before starting your dog on the food and before extending the period of use. Recommended feeding period: a maximum of 6 months to limit the formation of urate stones, for life in the case of incurable uric acid metabolic disorders, a maximum of six months to limit the formation of oxalate stones, a maximum of one year to limit the formation of urinary stones, for life to treat chronic kidney insufficiency (2–4 weeks in the case of acute kidney insufficiency).

Composition:

rice, dried chicken meat, potatoes, animal fat, oats, dried whole eggs, hydrolysed animal proteins, fish oil, dried beet pulp, potassium chloride, calcium sulfide dihydrate, calcium carbonate, vegetable oil, sodium chloride. Urinary acidifier: calcium sulfide dihydrate (5 g/kg).

Dosage:

Daily amounts may vary according to breed, environment, level of exercise, disposition and severity of the condition. The daily ration may be divided into two or more portions. The animal must have access to a bowl of water at all times throughout the day.
