Indications:
- Disorders of the gastrointestinal tract: gastroenteritis and diarrhoea
- Maldigestion and malabsorption
- Convalescence
- Exocrine pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, convalescence after acute pancreatitis
- Can also be used for puppies
Properties and benefits:
- High digestibility - Increases the amount of nutrients utilised by the animal’s body.
- Reduced fibre content - Improves the digestibility of the food and reduces the amount of faeces.
- Reduced fat content - Prevents stimulation of the pancreas in animals with exocrine pancreatitis.
- Addition of insoluble carbohydrates - Fructooligosaccharides are utilised by the bacteria of the gastrointestinal tract. They help stabilise the intestinal microflora and supply energy to the colonocytes.
- Increased electrolyte content - Helps compensate for losses caused by vomiting and diarrhoea.
- Added ginger - Stimulates the peristalsis of the gastrointestinal tract and has protective and anti-inflammatory effects.
- Combined effect - Supports the function of the digestive tract and joints.
Not recommended for: cats.
