Indications: FLUTD including struvite urolithiasis, urethral obstructions and idiopathic bladder infection.
Properties and benefits:
- Increased sodium chloride content - Helps stimulate thirst and thereby increase urine production and prevent the formation of crystals, struvite and oxalates in the urine.
- Addition of DL-methionine - Lowers the pH of the urine and thereby helps dissolve crystals and struvite stones and prevents the recurrence of urolithiasis.
- High glucosamine content - The increased content supports the function of the mucopolysaccharide barrier in the bladder wall and thereby limits the ability of bacteria to penetrate into the body through the bladder wall.
- Combined effect - Supports the function of the urinary tract and at the same time the joints.
Not intended for: kittens and pregnant or nursing cats and cats being given urine-acidifying agents.
