The individual ingredients of WILD DUCK LARGE BREED food were put together with veterinarians to match the natural prey behaviour of the wolf and the latest findings on holistic canine nutrition. Wolfsblut dry food is therefore unique.

• Sweet potatoes: According to the American health authority CSPI, they are one of the richest vegetables thanks to their valuable fibre and high content of beta-carotene and vitamin E.
• Pumpkin: One of the lowest-calorie vegetables and rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, minerals and phytosterols. The fibre it contains is highly digestible and aids digestion.
• Jerusalem artichoke: Contains a high proportion of inulin, which acts as a prebiotic and stimulates the growth of healthy bacterial strains in the gut. A healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
• Blackberries: These berries contain a particularly high amount of magnesium and iron. Blackberries also outperform their close relatives in provitamin A and vitamin E content.
• Elderberries: In addition to anthocyanins, these blue-black berries contain plenty of vitamin C and folic acid. The dye sambucyanin they contain is also said to have an anti-inflammatory effect.
• Chokeberries: Chokeberries contain large amounts of plant substances said to have particular health benefits, such as flavonoids and phenolic acid.
• Linseed: The fibre and mucilage in these small seeds have a positive effect on digestion and have a high content of polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids.
• Dandelion: Provides an abundance of minerals such as magnesium, folic acid, manganese and vitamin K. This vitamin plays an important role in blood clotting.
