The individual ingredients of COLD RIVER SMALL BREED food have been put together by veterinarians to match the natural behaviour of the wolf as a predator and current knowledge of holistic canine nutrition. Wolfsblut dry food is therefore unique.

• Sweet potatoes : According to the American health authority CSPI, they are one of the richest vegetables thanks to their valuable fibre and high content of beta-carotene and vitamin E.
• Chickpeas : Chickpeas are a legume and are rich in healthy nutrients. They contain quality plant protein, iron, B vitamins and calcium.
• Fennel : Fennel is rich in essential oils that are beneficial for digestion and the gut. It also contains vital substances such as potassium, vitamin A, folic acid, vitamin C and silica.
• Jerusalem artichoke : Contains a high proportion of inulin, which acts as a prebiotic and stimulates the growth of healthy bacterial strains in the gut. A healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
• Ginseng : Used in Asia as a medicinal plant. The reason is the plant's high nutrient content, being rich in amino acids, vitamins, copper, iron and calcium.
• Spirulina : This alga is rich in high-quality protein and has a high content of vitamin B12 and iron.
