Wolfsblut Dog Small Breed Wide Plain 2kg

Wolves hunt their prey from the Rocky Mountains of North America, the Arctic tundra, the mountains and forests of Europe, all the way to the deserts and steppes of Central Asia. This provides them with meat and offal rich in nutrients, but also vegetables, fruit, berries, roots and herbs from the stomach contents of their prey. Cereals are not included here. In this way, the wolf receives the necessary vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes and secondary plant substances. Since the wolf is the ancestor of all dogs, our Wolfsblut dry dog food is based on the natural eating habits of the wolf. It contains a lot of meat combined with superfoods that contain valuable ingredients – just as in nature, grain-free. Our selection of exceptional types of meat and nutrient-rich superfoods is based on wolf habitats and their varied diet. Wolfsblut offers every dog a species-appropriate and original diet, and thanks to the variety of recipes, every dog can find something it tolerates. The WIDE PLAIN SMALL BREED dry food recipe combines the nutrition of wolves with the latest scientific knowledge on proper dog nutrition.

• Sweet potatoes: According to the American health authority CSPI, they are one of the richest vegetables thanks to their valuable fibre and high content of beta-carotene and vitamin E.
• Pumpkin: One of the lowest-calorie vegetables, rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, minerals and phytosterols. The fibre it contains is highly digestible and aids digestion.
• Parsnip: Tastes sweet and spicy, is rich in calcium, potassium, folic acid, zinc and vitamin C, and is considered particularly digestible. •
• Chickpeas: Chickpeas are a legume and rich in healthy nutrients. They contain quality plant protein, iron, B vitamins and calcium.
• Sage: Contains tannins and bitter substances as well as numerous essential oil compounds, which, among other things, can aid digestion and relieve bloating.
