The individual ingredients of WIDE PLAIN SMALL BREED food were put together by veterinarians to match the natural prey behaviour of the wolf and the latest findings on holistic canine nutrition. Wolfsblut dry food is therefore unique.

• Sweet potatoes: According to the American health authority CSPI, they are one of the richest vegetables thanks to their valuable fibre and high content of beta-carotene and vitamin E.
• Pumpkin: One of the lowest-calorie vegetables and rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, minerals and phytosterols. The fibre it contains is highly digestible and aids digestion.
• Parsnip: Tastes sweet and piquant, is rich in calcium, potassium, folic acid, zinc and vitamin C, and is considered particularly digestible. •
• Chickpeas: Chickpeas are a legume and are rich in healthy nutrients. They contain high-quality plant protein, iron, B vitamins and calcium.
• Sage: Contains tannins and bitter substances as well as numerous essential-oil compounds, which, among other things, can aid digestion and reduce bloating.
• Jerusalem artichoke: Contains a high proportion of inulin, which acts as a prebiotic and stimulates the growth of healthy bacterial strains in the gut. A healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
