Yoggies VET Insect Derma with Insect Protein, Cold-Pressed Kibble with Probiotics 5kg

Yoggies VET was developed with veterinarians and tested on dogs with intestinal, immune and other digestive problems, as well as food and other allergies.

This food is especially useful if you have a dog that is a severe "allergy sufferer". Insect meat is, in the vast majority of cases, a trouble-free source of animal protein. We use only young, high-quality insects (larvae) in our food, so it does not contain the (controversial) chitin shell, which is unsuitable in the long term and reduces the utilisation of insect protein. Our protein, by contrast, is very high-quality, low in fat, and excellently absorbed and utilised. The food is therefore also suitable for reduction diets for milder forms of obesity. It also contains pure probiotics to strengthen the dog's microbiome and immunity.

When to introduce the food without consulting a veterinarian:

• For diarrhoea and/or itchy skin caused by an allergy to proteins in food. For more serious problems (blood and/or mucus in the stool, skin scabs, weeping skin, etc.), we recommend consulting a veterinarian. The food will not cause harm, but in acute cases it is necessary to rule out causes other than those from food,
• for an elimination diet to identify problematic proteins in food – we recommend introducing the food for 8 weeks and giving nothing else, not even treats – if the problem disappears, the cause should be sought among the ingredients of the previous food. (It is ideal to use this food for dogs who have no prior experience with potatoes, peas and insect protein)
• for allergy sufferers on B.A.R.F. – suitable as an alternative for travel (it's best to try it at home first), as a treat, or as a quickly available option if you happen to forget to defrost the feed ration.

When to consult a veterinarian before introducing the food:

After recovering from kidney/liver/pancreatic disease – once the strict diet has ended and the veterinarian allows the transition to standard food.

Holistic nutrition

Holistic dog nutrition is a feeding approach that emphasises an overall view of the dog's health and wellbeing, and that's exactly what Yoggies kibble is. This concept includes a high-quality, balanced diet, with an emphasis on natural and fresh ingredients. Holistic nutrition takes into account not only the dog's physical needs, but also its mental and social aspects, and emphasises prevention and support for overall wellbeing through diet and lifestyle.

Normal kibble is standard size and suits medium and large breeds; choose mini kibble for small breeds and puppies.

Potato flakes, dried ground insect 19%, dried ground peas, hemp oil, fish oil, sea algae, peat, red beetroot pulp. Probiotic culture (per kg):   Enterococcus faecium 1%.
