AminAvast Cat 60 Capsules
AminAvast Cat is a dietetic veterinary product supporting the correct kidney function in cats. It helps to maintain the correct levels of creatinine and urea (BUN). It is suitable as a supplement to diets with a reduced protein content. It contains naturally occurring amino acids and peptides.
Main benefits:
- protects cells, especially the renal tubular ones,
- increases glomerular filtration and gluconeogenesis,
- reduces protein loss in the muscles,
- has a strong anti-inflammatory effect,
- reduces blood pressure in the kidneys,
- increases renal vasodilation,
- increases the levels of hormones that contribute to the renewal of kidney tissue.
Indications: chronic renal failure
Composition (in 1 capsule): L–histidine, L–arginine, L–glutamine ≥ 300 mg, L–glycine.
Excipients: sodium salt of glutamic acid, sodium salt of aspartic acid, L–carnosine ad 600 mg.
Dosage:
- cat up to 4.5 kg – 1 capsule 2× daily
- cat over 4.6 kg – 2 capsules 2× daily
For cats weighing 5–10 kg, the AminAvast for dogs product can be used at a dosage of ½ capsule 2× daily (morning/evening).
Long-term use: The product can be given both short-term and long-term (and preventively if needed). A two-year clinical study did not confirm any side effects.
Method of administration: The capsule can be applied directly into the animal's mouth, or its contents can be emptied out and mixed into wet food. If the animal is used to eating exclusively dry food, we recommend moistening the feed so that the capsule contents adhere to it better. Alternatively, the capsule contents can be mixed with a smaller amount of water and administered this way directly into the animal's mouth.
