Complementary feed for cats to support the proper function of the urinary system and normal excretion.
Domestic cats often have problems with the lower urinary tract; in particular, stones in the bladder and urethra frequently occur.
In these cases, specific medication therapy is necessary in combination with the preventive use of complementary feeds specially created to support urinary tract health.
The most commonly occurring kidney stones:
Struvite stones (ammonium phosphate, magnesium hexahydrate) tend to form in an alkaline environment or slightly acidic urine, in the presence of a high concentration of Mg, ammonia and phosphate in the urine.
Feline urolithiasis known as FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease), an abbreviation which indicates that the problem should not be considered merely a disease of urolith formation, but a complex and multifactorial disease of the lower urinary tract .
COMPOSITION:
Vegetable fats (sunflower and soya oil), concentrated powdered malt, hydrolysed animal proteins, guar flour, products and by-products from the processing of fresh fruit and vegetables (cranberries), products obtained from the processing of herbs (dried, powdered – phyllanthus, Phyllanthus spp. ), tubers, roots and products thereof (spiny restharrow powder, Ononis spinosa), fish oil
ANALYTICAL CONSTITUENTS:
Crude protein 9.27%, Crude oils and fats 50.48%, Crude ash 1.29%, Crude fibre 1.67%, Calcium 0.23%, Phosphorus 2.10%, Potassium 2.60%, Sodium 0.76%
Dosage:
Recommended amount: one click of the syringe per every 5 kg of the cat's body weight once daily.
It is recommended to always have enough fresh water available.
