Characteristics
TraumaPet Gel Ag is a veterinary product for local application containing nanosilver. Its essential component is water, which helps moisten the wound to support healing. Years of research and specific applications have demonstrated the antimicrobial and fungicidal effects of silver.
The product shows no toxic effects.
Composition of TraumaPet gel Ag
Colloidal silver 400 ug Ag per 1 ml of gel
purified water, carbomer, sodium hydroxide to adjust pH
Directions for use
Apply the gel to the wound or affected area so that it forms a continuous, thicker layer (2-3 mm) over the entire wound. Then cover the wound with a bandage. Repeat the treatment every 12 – 48 hours, depending on the type of wound and how it is healing. Drying out reduces the product's effectiveness!
The product is suitable for all species of kept animals.
No contraindications are known. A possible allergy to silver, which is very rare.
Use within two years of the date stated on the packaging.
