Indications:
- The Arpalit® Dog veterinary technical electronic repellent device is suitable for dogs of all sizes and ages. It is also used for older and weak animals prone to illness, for puppies, during lactation, and for animals living indoors.
- The Arpalit® Dog veterinary technical electronic repellent device is attached to the collar with the opening facing towards the animal's body. The electronic repellent contains a microchip that emits ultrasonic pulses at a frequency of 40 kHz, inaudible to humans and animals. Short ultrasonic pulses disturb and repel parasites within a radius of 3 metres from the animal, thus preventing infestation.
- The effectiveness of the Arpalit® Dog electronic repellent does not decrease in damp or rainy conditions, but it must be removed before bathing the animal.
- The Arpalit® Dog electronic repellent is recommended for use especially during the period of highest parasite occurrence (March-October).
- After fitting the electronic repellent to the animal's collar, the occurrence of parasites decreases depending on the initial infestation of the animal. A significant reduction in parasite occurrence takes place 7 days after fitting the electronic repellent.
- For animals with a significant parasite occurrence, it is recommended, especially in the initial phase of heavy parasite infestation, to combine the Arpalit® Dog electronic repellent with antiparasitic products (Arpalit Neo® spray, mechanical sprayer, foam). After 35 days from fitting, parasites are usually no longer found on the animal's body. This condition persists for the effective duration of the electronic repellent, 10 months from first activation.
- The Arpalit® Dog electronic repellent is harmless to humans and animals, is non-toxic, and is odourless.
Method of use:
Remove the device from the packaging and remove the red safety pin. After the LED light flashes 10 times, the device activates. After activation of the electronic repellent, the estimated battery life is 1 year. Attach the Arpalit® Dog electronic repellent pendant to the animal's collar. The opening with the grille, from which the ultrasonic waves are emitted, must face towards the animal's body.
To check the function of the electronic repellent, press the button; the LED light coming on indicates that the device is working. The Arpalit® Dog electronic repellent is powered by a lithium battery, which cannot be replaced.
Special notice:
- The device is small; take extra care when handling it around small children.
- Protect the Arpalit® Dog electronic repellent from damage in the presence of other animals.
- Protect from submersion in water. Do not open.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Special storage conditions:
Store in a dry environment at a temperature of 5-25 °C.
