Treatment and prevention of flea (Ctenocephalides spp.) and tick (Rhipicephalus spp., Dermatocentor spp., Ixodes spp.) infestation in cats.
Treatment and control of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) in cats. Prevention and treatment of lice (Felicola subrostatus) infestation in cats.
Composition: 1 ml contains 2.5 mg fipronil
Use: Spray the entire surface of the animal's body from a distance of 10– 20 cm. Spray against the direction of hair growth and make sure the whole coat is dampened. Comb through the coat of long-haired breeds so the product can reach the animal's skin. To treat the head and the area around the eyes, and when treating young or restless animals, spray the product onto the palm of a gloved hand and gently rub it into the coat. Allow the product to dry under normal temperature conditions. Do not dry it off with a towel.
Dosage: Depending on coat length, and so that the whole coat is dampened down to the skin, apply 3 to 6 ml per kilogram of the animal's body weight (7.5 to 15 mg fipronil per kg body weight), i.e. 6 to 12 pump strokes per kg body weight for the 100 ml pack size
Contraindications:
Due to the lack of available data, do not use the product in kittens younger than 8 weeks and/or weighing less than 1 kg.
