A dietary complementary feed for dogs and cats designed to support kidney function in cases of chronic failure, with a carefully selected, gentle composition.
Ipakitine powder is a safe, flavoured complementary feed for dogs and cats designed to support proper kidney function in cases of chronic insufficiency. A low-phosphorus diet is recommended, along with regular testing of phosphorus levels. Ipakitine contains chitosan, which binds phosphates. It can be given on its own or mixed with regular food.
Dosage:
1 g (= 1 scoop) per 5 kg of the dog's or cat's body weight, twice daily.
The recommended duration of use is a maximum of 6 months. Before use, or before extending the period of use, it is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinary surgeon.

Composition: Lactose, calcium carbonate, chitosan, soy protein concentrate.
Protein source: soy hydrolysate.
Analytical constituents: Moisture 2%, nitrogenous compounds 4%, fibre < 1%, fat 0.5%, ash 10.5%, calcium (Ca) 3.7%, phosphorus (P) < 0.01%, sodium (Na) 0.015%, potassium (K) 0.024%.
