The KILTIX antiparasitic collar 38 cm contains two active substances (propoxur and flumethrin), which through their combined action guarantee an excellent and long-lasting effect against both fleas and ticks.

Efficacy for up to 7 months, i.e. the whole season. Suitable for all dog breeds, including puppies from 3 months of age.

When choosing the size of the Kiltix, allow for the necessary 5 cm spare for fastening the collar.

Flumethrin additionally causes infertility in female ticks, so it reduces the infestation of the environment with ticks.

Because it takes approximately 24 hours for the active substances to disperse over the dog's whole body, it is very important to keep the collar on the dog at all times - even when bathing!

Kiltix® is suitable for all dog breeds: small, medium, long-haired and short-haired. The collar does not change the colour or quality of the coat. This is demonstrated, for example, by a field trial with 149 dogs of various breeds, sizes and coat lengths. The trial lasted three years and throughout that time an excellent effect of the collar against tick infestation was observed. The collar was effective throughout the whole tick season (up to 7 months). In some cases, even a collar worn for 11 months prevented tick infestation.

Some dogs were occasionally attacked by ticks, but the ticks died while still in the animal's coat - meaning that they did not attach at all. At the same time the collar was effective against fleas throughout.

Kiltix® is very well tolerated. The active substances remain only in the dog's coat, are not absorbed into the blood, and therefore there is no risk of damage to the kidneys or liver.

Kiltix® can be used on puppies from 3 months of age. The excellent effect of Kiltix® has also been verified in southern European countries, in India, and in western and southern Africa.
