Purpose of use
The product is intended for small animals, especially dogs, for preventive oral hygiene and to support the treatment of oral inflammation.

Characteristics
TraumaPet stoma Ag is a veterinary product for cleaning teeth containing nanosilver. It has excellent abrasive properties for removing plaque and a mild meat flavour that makes tooth cleaning a pleasant experience. Long-term research and specific applications have proven the antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects of silver. The product shows no toxic effects.

Directions for use
Carry out dental hygiene in dogs regularly at one-day intervals with a toothbrush and an appropriate amount of toothpaste. Always choose a soft toothbrush of a size appropriate to the animal being treated. The amount of paste depends on the size of the animal and should not be too large.

When cleaning, start in the easily accessible part of the occlusion, on the labial surface of the teeth, roughly in the range of the canines and incisors. Once manipulation in the oral cavity is accepted by the animal being treated, proceed in a distal direction along the labial surfaces of the teeth on both sides up to the molars. It is advisable to pull the cheeks away from the teeth enough that the cleaning process can be checked visually. Move the brush over the surface of the teeth in a circular motion and focus mainly on the labial surfaces, where the most plaque accumulates. The labial/palatal surfaces are harder to reach and their cleaning is possible in cooperative animals. In calm animals the cleaning can be carried out by one person; in the case of restless animals it is advisable to clean with the help of a second person who holds the dog still.
