Just as in humans, dental plaque forms in a dog's mouth and over time develops into tartar. In small breeds, this is often common as early as the second year of life. A special diet, which can be fed throughout the dog's life, serves as prevention as part of daily dental hygiene, reduces the formation of dental plaque and tartar, and reduces bad breath.

Ideal kibble size

The shape, structure and size of the kibble encourage chewing, during which the dental plaque is gently abraded.

Reduced tartar build-up

Sodium polyphosphate captures calcium in the saliva and thus reduces tartar build-up.

Supports the formation of unsaturated urine

Once diluted, the urine is less prone to forming struvite and calcium oxalate stones.

INDICATIONS:

Adult small-breed dogs (<10 kg) in the following cases:

• Daily oral and dental hygiene

• Dental plaque and tartar (to reduce their formation)

• Bad breath

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• Chronic kidney disease (CKD)

• Heart disease – if sodium restriction is required

• Growth, pregnancy/lactation

Rice, maize, dehydrated poultry proteins, animal fats, maize gluten, wheat gluten (L.I.P. proteins selected for their very high absorbability), vegetable fibre, beet pulp, hydrolysed animal proteins, minerals, fish oil, soya oil, fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), green tea extracts (source of polyphenols), marigold extract (source of lutein).
