Rataj Profi Soil Fine-Grain Substrate 8l
A fine-grained (1–2 mm) aquarium substrate with internal porosity.
Bioactivity: The internal porosity multiplies the surface area colonised by bacteria many times over. The substrate therefore has a great cleansing capacity, and waste substances break down far better within it.
Chemically inert: Does not raise the water's pH and does not affect water parameters
Perfect for plants: The aquarium floor does not compact, because the substrate is porous. The floor is therefore optimally aerated and conducts heat well. Plant roots therefore have ideal conditions for healthy growth.
Natural look: The substrate's brown colour looks natural and combines well with stones and wood (amano wood, lava rock).
Excellent in nano aquariums: The substrate can be used in all types of tank. Its use is particularly beneficial in nano aquariums with shrimp, which appreciate its fine grain and porosity.
