Ticks and fleas: what are they, and what danger do they pose to pets and people?

Ticks and fleas are ectoparasites, meaning parasites that live on the surface of the body. Protecting ourselves and our pets from these pests is essential for preventing the spread of diseases and infections. The main carriers of disease are, in particular, ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus). They suck the blood of infected animals and transmit spirochaetes to new hosts, which they attach to later. Ticks indiscriminately attack all warm-blooded creatures, including humans. Their bite is not painful, and so often goes unnoticed. Once embedded in the skin, they act like a pump. They continuously suck in and expel blood, meaning a fairly large amount of blood can become contaminated quite quickly.

Ultrasound is the ideal solution for protection against pests such as ticks and fleas.

The use of ultrasonic technology is the ideal solution during all activities carried out in contact with nature. The emitted ultrasonic waves affect only the nervous systems of ticks and fleas. They are so disruptive to these parasites that they are forced to leave the host, while at the same time preventing a new attack. A genuinely eco-friendly solution with no contraindications, as it uses no potentially harmful chemicals.
