TraumaPet is suitable for supporting the healing of inflammatory conditions of the eye and eyelid caused by bacteria and yeast.
Purpose of use
Cleaning and moistening of the eye. Suitable for supporting the healing of inflammatory diseases of the eye and eyelid of bacterial and yeast origin. In inflammations of mixed and non-bacterial origin, the product's effect is limited.
Characteristics
TraumaPet ophtal Ag is a sterile product intended for moistening and cleaning the eye and the inner side of the eyelid. It is also suitable as a supportive product in healing inflammatory diseases of the eye and eyelid. It contains nanosilver. Ringer's solution serves as an excipient and carrier. It was chosen because its osmolarity is close to that of tear fluid.
Years of research and specific applications have demonstrated the antimicrobial, fungicidal and anti-inflammatory effects of silver.
The product shows no toxic effects.
Composition of TraumaPet ophtal Ag
Colloidal silver 20 µg (0.002%) per 1 ml of eye drops, Ringer's solution
Directions for use
Apply repeatedly (2-5x a day) into the affected eye. The amount depends on the size of the animal (2-10 drops)
The product is intended for all species of kept animals.
No contraindications are known. A possible allergy to silver, which is very rare.
Use within two years of the date stated on the packaging.
