A complementary food for dogs and cats made up of soluble fibre, insoluble fibre, prebiotics and probiotics, which help maintain the natural balance of the gut. Specially developed to regulate intestinal peristalsis and prevent blockage of the anal glands.

WeFiber® contains:
Psyllium, oat bran, yeast products (mannan oligosaccharides, nucleotides and beta-glucans), glutamine, Enterococcus faecium, hydrolysed animal proteins, magnesium stearate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, bentonite, minerals (zinc, iron) and natural flavouring.

Changes in gut function deserve your attention…
Proper gut function is a very important factor for the animal's health and wellbeing. Peristaltic movements (peristalsis) move digested food through the intestine, and if any deviations occur, they need to be corrected. Changes in peristalsis are common in dogs and cats. These changes can manifest as constipation, or conversely as diarrhoea or varied stool consistency, which can lead to blockage of the anal glands.
A comprehensive approach combines soluble and insoluble fibre with other substances aimed at improving the function of the gut and the whole organism.

The importance of fibre…
Soluble fibre increases the water content of the stool and forms a gel that eases the passage of faeces. Fermentable fibre (especially soluble fibre) produces short-chain fatty acids, including butyrate, which can stimulate longitudinal contractions of the smooth muscle of the colon and promote the elimination of faeces. Colon motility can be improved by insoluble fibre, by distending the intestinal lumen and stimulating stretch receptors.

L-GLUTAMINE

• Under stress and catabolic conditions, glutamine is used to maintain the integrity of mucosal cells and lymphatic tissue. It also slows the translocation of bacteria to the mesenteric lymph nodes

Dosage instructions: 

Measure out the recommended dose using the scoop (7.5 g) according to your vet's instructions. Add the powder to the food and mix well. Suitable for cats and dogs. Adjust the amount according to the animal's weight.
Give WeFiber® for 3 to 12 weeks, until digestion improves. The animal should always have fresh water available.
