Wolves hunt their prey from the Rocky Mountains of North America, the Arctic tundra, the mountains, forests and seas of Europe, all the way to the deserts and steppes of Central Asia. This provides them with meat, fish and offal rich in nutrients, but also vegetables, fruit, berries, roots and herbs via the stomach contents of their prey. Grain is not included here. In this way, the wolf takes in the vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes and secondary plant substances it needs. The individual ingredients of the ATLANTIC TUNA food were put together by veterinarians to match the natural predatory behaviour of the wolf and the findings on holistic dog nutrition. Wolfsblut dry food is therefore unique.

• Sweet potatoes : According to the American health authority CSPI, they are one of the richest vegetables thanks to their valuable fibre and high content of beta-carotene and vitamin E.
• Moringa oleifera : Moringa leaves are rich in valuable amino acids and bitter compounds that stimulate bowel activity and can improve metabolism.
• Jerusalem artichoke : Contains a high proportion of inulin, which acts as a prebiotic and stimulates the growth of healthy bacterial strains in the gut. Healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
• Dandelion : Provides an abundance of minerals such as magnesium, folic acid, manganese and vitamin K. This vitamin plays an important role in blood clotting.
• Hawthorn : In modern natural medicine, it is considered a highly effective therapeutic agent. The compounds it contains, so-called flavonoids and oligomeric procyanidins, naturally support cardiovascular function.
• Ginseng : It is used as a medicinal plant in Asia. The reason is the plant’s high nutrient content, being rich in amino acids, vitamins, copper, iron and calcium.
