The individual ingredients of WESTERN CAPE food were put together with veterinarians to match the natural behaviour of the wolf as predator and the latest findings on holistic dog nutrition. Wolfsblut dry food is therefore unique.

• Banana : This superfruit contains an ideal mix of vitamins (B2, B3, B6, B7, C, K) as well as magnesium, iron and potassium. B vitamins play an important role in the central nervous system.
• Blackberries : These berries contain particularly high amounts of magnesium and iron. Blackberries even beat their local relatives in terms of provitamin A and vitamin E content.
• Raspberries : Raspberries are the best source of iron among berries. They are also not lacking in the minerals phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, and, incidentally, B vitamins and vitamin C.
• Dandelion : Impresses with many minerals such as magnesium, folic acid, manganese and vitamin K. This vitamin plays an important role in blood clotting.
• Jerusalem artichoke : Contains a high proportion of inulin, which acts as a prebiotic and stimulates the growth of healthy bacterial strains in the gut. A healthy gut flora has a positive effect on the immune system.
