Wolfsblut VetLine Urinary is a complete dietetic food for adult dogs to support urinary tract health; it can help dissolve struvite stones and reduce the recurrence of struvite stones.

Urinary tract disease – whether due to bacterial infection or due to age, breed or diet – can lead to the formation of painful urinary stones. The most common type of urinary stone in dogs is the so-called struvite stone, which forms from the deposition of minerals and substances in the bladder. Because your dog cannot excrete them through urine, your four-legged patient needs your support.

Wolfsblut VetLine Urinary helps your dog with urinary tract problems:

1. By preventing struvite stones: low protein content and adjusted levels of magnesium and phosphorus prevent (new) struvite stone formation.
2. By dissolving struvite stones: adding methionine optimises urinary pH (6.2-6.5). Acidified urine can dissolve existing struvite stones.
3. With this diet, an increased fluid intake is essential in order to increase urine output and adequately flush the urinary tract.

Composition:

Chicken 60%, sweet potatoes 7%, pumpkin 2%, salmon oil 1.0%, alfalfa, minerals, Jerusalem artichoke, dandelion, nettle, mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS prebiotic), fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS prebiotic) , calcium sulphate 0.25%. DL-methionine, sodium bisulphate.

Additives per kg: Vitamin A (as retinyl acetate) 2,500 IU, vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) 250 IU, vitamin E (as all-rac-alpha-tocopheryl acetate) 25 mg, biotin 25 mg, zinc (as zinc oxide) 20 mg, copper (as cupric sulphate, pentahydrate) 1 mg, iodine (as calcium iodate, anhydrous) 0.75 mg, DL-methionine 600 mg. Technological additives: sodium bisulphate 500 mg.

Feeding guide

Energy content: 400 kJ ME/100 g.

To dissolve struvite stones: 5 to 12 weeks, to reduce the recurrence of struvite stones: up to 6 months.
