Wolfsblut VetLine Hypoallergenic is a complete dietetic food for adult dogs to reduce symptoms of raw material and nutrient intolerance associated with chronic pruritus, otitis externa and gastrointestinal diseases such as IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) or colitis.

Wolfsblut VetLine Hypoallergenic helps your dog with food allergies and intolerances:

1. By using a single, high-quality protein source: horse meat is considered hypoallergenic and has a very low allergy potential. This way, symptoms of raw material and nutrient intolerance are reduced. Put another way: the shorter the ingredient list, the lower the risk of an adverse reaction.
2. Limiting carbohydrate sources to sweet potatoes and pumpkin also reduces the allergy potential.
3. The food is ideal as an elimination diet: this limits the food ingredients as much as possible, so initially you can observe for a few weeks whether your dog's symptoms subside. If they do, you can gradually add ingredients back in and identify exactly which ones your dog reacts to.
4. By avoiding cereals, even nutritionally sensitive dogs can receive a species-appropriate diet.
5. This special food contains a high proportion of essential fatty acids, which can dampen inflammatory reactions and thereby alleviate symptoms of allergy or intolerance.

To reduce nutrient intolerance, it can be fed for 3–8 weeks, and once intolerance symptoms have subsided, it can be fed indefinitely.
